Designed to foster exceptional writing within an encouraging academic setting, our program equips students for professional careers in teaching, writing, editing, and publishing. Exceptional candidates may qualify for Graduate Assistantships, Writing Center tutoring positions, and teaching roles with tuition benefits.
Individuals holding a bachelor's degree can enroll in up to three graduate courses as non-degree students before applying to the program. We suggest beginning with ENG 6160 Creative Writing I as an introductory course.
