Earn a Master of Arts (MA) in applied economics from Wichita State's Barton School of Business, which holds AACSB accreditation. The program provides a general economics path along with three focused concentrations: economic analysis, financial economics, or international economics. Each specialization will give you comprehensive knowledge of economic systems, preparing you for career growth or doctoral studies in economics.
Students must complete either a thesis (30 credit hours) or an independent research project plus an elective course in their chosen field (33 credit hours). Most students finish the applied economics MA program within four semesters.
