The Master of Public Policy (MPP) is a two-year professional program that equips students with the analytical tools, specialized knowledge, and professional connections needed to tackle complex policy issues. The MPP program structure includes two key elements - a mandatory core curriculum (totaling 27 credits) covering governance fundamentals, quantitative methods, and policy implementation, along with elective courses for specialized study. Students can apply their elective credits toward one or two focus areas or explore broader policy topics. Available specializations range from environmental and energy policy to international development, security studies, public administration, and various social policy fields. The degree requires completion of 48 credits. Develop expertise in policy analysis and governance while acquiring hands-on experience to address critical societal challenges.
The International Security and Economic Policy (ISEP) concentration prepares students to navigate intricate global policy issues, including nuclear threat reduction, conflict prevention, cybersecurity strategies, managing superpower relations, fostering sustainable economic development, and responding to international humanitarian emergencies while addressing climate change impacts.
