Qualification Requirements

Earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or a recognized institution in another country whose requirements for the bachelor's degree are substantially equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. The basis on which credits are awarded for the bachelor's degree must be consistent with the policies and procedures for the award of such credit at Wichita State, and Achieved a grade point average of at least 2.750 from a U.S. institution, or its equivalent from a foreign institution, including any post bachelor's graduate work, and no more than 9 credit hours of background deficiencies in the desired field of graduate study. In certain instances, the GPA may be based on the last 60 credit hours of coursework (or nearest semester or term break to this). Many departments require a higher minimum grade point average.

TOEFL 79 on the internet-based test, or 550 on the paper-based test.
IELTS minimum overall band score of 6.5 is required
