Wichita State's undergraduate certificate in Spanish for the Professions prepares you with professional Spanish language skills for workplace environments. This 15-credit-hour program is open to both WSU students and community members not pursuing degrees. Prerequisites include completing SPAN 220 and SPAN 325 before starting the certificate. The curriculum covers:

Healthcare or Business Spanish Applications

OPTION 1: ADMISSION BASED ON GRADES FROM HIGH SCHOOL
For this option, the SAT or ACT is NOT required for admission.
This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school).
Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission -- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
Students who have completed AP, IB, or Cambridge A or AS level curriculum are eligible to receive transfer credit.
Students must submit final high school transcripts.
You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.
