Wichita State's undergraduate certificate in Graphic Narrative Coding and Accessibility merges practical training with critical thinking across three expanding disciplines: comics, computer science, and disability studies. Through hands-on projects, students build both skills and professional portfolios by adapting comics for accessibility purposes, digital humanities applications, and other innovative uses.
This interdisciplinary 12-credit certificate welcomes students from all majors and includes two core courses: ID 405: Seminar in Applied Innovation and ENGL 377 Graphic Novels. Students can customize their path by selecting electives aligned with their personal interests and professional aspirations.
