The undergraduate certificate in aging studies (UGC-AGE) enables both college students and professionals to enhance their understanding of core aging principles, equipping them to better assist older adults. This 12-credit program offers foundational knowledge in aging studies with a psychological emphasis. Upon completion, students earn 12 credit hours that count toward introductory and advanced elective requirements for bachelor's degrees. The fully online certificate can be finished in one academic year, with enrollment available during fall, spring, or summer terms. It's designed to complement various degree programs including biology, chemistry, physics, exercise science, pre-medicine, social work, and health professions offered through the College of Health Professions and WSU Tech.
