Biology explores the science of life and living beings. Biologists pursue three key objectives: (1) comprehending how organisms are structured and function, (2) producing and sharing accurate biological data, and (3) gaining profound insights into nature to address pressing environmental, health, and societal challenges.
As instructors, we aim to deliver rigorous academic curricula that foster inquisitiveness, innovation, and enduring analytical skills for students undertaking a liberal arts education in Biology. Our B.S. programs cater to aspiring biologists, preparing them for advanced studies or professional careers in biological sciences or education. These programs help students build a cohesive understanding of biological concepts while honing analytical reasoning, numerical problem-solving capabilities, leadership qualities, collaborative skills, and research competencies.
