The Molecular and Cell Biology concentration examines how molecular biology and genetic methods are applied to study cellular processes. Similar to the former Molecular Biology Concentration, this program enables Biology students to specialize in molecular approaches to biological questions through a mix of lectures, seminars, and hands-on lab research. Elective courses fall under two groups: Molecular and Cell Biology, and Genetics and Genomics. Completion of Advanced Experimental Research is mandatory for this concentration.
