Anthropology examines the essence of human existence. This field scientifically investigates humanity across all global cultures, both historical and contemporary. It encompasses our biological evolution and the formation of varied ways of life. Anthropology's cross-cultural perspective offers a comprehensive lens to understand the multifaceted nature of human experience.

Our Anthropology Department offers instruction in four specialized areas: Cultural Anthropology, Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, and Linguistic Anthropology. By employing ethnographic, ethnological, and historical research methods from these subfields, anthropologists conduct comparative studies of cultures and human developmental processes.
