The accelerated degree program enables civil and construction engineering undergraduates to simultaneously fulfill bachelor's and master's degree requirements at a faster pace.
Eligible ADP participants can apply six to nine credit hours of 500-level coursework from their undergraduate studies toward a civil engineering master's degree, provided they complete their graduate studies within 30 months of earning their bachelor's. These students may pursue a Master of Science in Engineering (Civil) through any of the three options outlined in the graduate catalog.
Through the ADP, civil or construction engineering majors can earn both bachelor's and master's degrees by completing either 147 combined credit hours (for options one or two) or 153 combined credit hours (for option three) in the Master of Science in Engineering (Civil) program.
Students must declare their interest before completing 96 credit hours in their undergraduate programs, including credits earned from advanced placement.
Students must have a minimum accumulated grade point average GPA of 3.0 at WMU.
