The Medieval Institute provides an intensive graduate degree track (AGDP) in medieval studies, enabling undergraduate seniors to earn credits toward a master's degree simultaneously. Participants in this program can enroll in up to 12 credit hours of specified 5000- and 6000-level courses for graduate credit. These approved courses count toward both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
A cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 based on at least 56 earned hours.
A declared medieval studies minor. If you have received your B.A. degree you will be ineligible to apply for this program and retroactively claim credits toward the M.A. degree.
Minimum English proficiency test scores:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 80 iBT
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: 6.5
Pearson Test of English, Academic Module (PTE): 54
Michigan English Test (MET): 57
Application deadlines:
The deadline for complete applications is January 15 for fall
