Western Michigan University provides two bachelor's-level nursing options: a pre-licensure BSN program and an RN-to-BSN completion pathway. These curricula blend liberal arts, scientific principles, and nursing expertise to develop well-rounded nurse professionals. Graduates gain comprehensive understanding of nursing practice and demonstrate proficiency in delivering, managing, and assessing patient care across diverse healthcare settings.
A first-year applicant is a student who is applying for admission and who has not attempted or earned any college credit after graduating from high school/secondary school (or earned equivalent).
