The School of Engineering and Technology provides four Bachelor of Science engineering programs at its Quad Cities campus. These represent the sole public B.S. Engineering degrees available in the Quad Cities area, offering students distinctive opportunities to engage with industry via paid internships and senior design projects. Students may also join various entrepreneurial high-tech development initiatives through the Quad Cities Manufacturing Laboratory located at the Rock Island Arsenal complex.
The ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering is a multidisciplinary degree that equips graduates for professional practice and leadership roles in contemporary society. Coursework covers mechanics, materials, electronics, and quality subjects, tailored to students' chosen specialization. The program offers two concentration options: General Engineering and Industrial Engineering.
