Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture must fulfill requirements I, II, and either III.A, III.B, or III.C, along with the foreign language/global studies component for the major#. Agriculture majors can select from three pathways: Agricultural Business, Agricultural Science, or Agriculture Teacher Education. Each pathway offers opportunities for technical competency or specialization. The bachelor's degree requires a minimum of 120 semester hours. Up to 6 semester hours of unstructured courses (AGRI 200, 301, 400, 481, 499) can apply toward the major. At least 24 semester hours of Agriculture coursework must be completed at WIU or another four-year institution. No more than 29 semester hours may be taken in traditional business disciplines (including Accountancy, Business Law, Business and Technology, Decision Sciences, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management).
