The Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology equips students with holistic perspectives on human behavior, diversity, and societal challenges by integrating studies in human biology, cultural examination, linguistics, and historical societies. This Anthropology program cultivates a comprehensive grasp of human biological and cultural variations while developing competencies to thrive in our dynamic global landscape. Through its curriculum, students can implement anthropological research in real-world environmental and community learning scenarios. An Anthropology degree opens doors to diverse career paths including legal practice, social services, global economic development, corporate sectors, public policy, healthcare, forensic investigation, human rights activism, and various service-oriented professions. Graduates may also find employment with educational institutions, the National Park Service, consulting firms, and cultural museums. Additionally, the program establishes both theoretical and applied groundwork for advanced studies in Anthropology and Archaeology.
Students can pursue a combined bachelor's and master's program through the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology paired with a Master of Arts in Sociology. For Anthropology majors, two accelerated degree options exist: the Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology combined with either a Master of Arts in Museum Studies or a Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences. These integrated programs enable high-achieving undergraduates to complete both degrees within a five-year timeframe.
