The Arts Management Concentration is a joint initiative between Emory College's Art History, Music, and Theater and Dance departments and Goizueta Business School's BBA Program. This program is exclusively available to BBA candidates and students majoring in Art History, Music, Theater, or Dance. Designed to broaden understanding and skills, the concentration offers interdisciplinary context and bridges theoretical knowledge with practical application. It equips BA and BBA students with essential knowledge, skills, and real-world exposure for administrative and leadership roles in the performing arts sector. BBA participants delve into the historical, political, and practical aspects of their chosen arts discipline within Emory College, while arts students gain foundational knowledge about the organizational structures and market dynamics that shape artistic production and distribution. All enrolled students complete business-oriented and arts-specific elective courses, culminating in a capstone experience that allows them to integrate and test their developing insights in both academic and professional settings.
