The WVU MSW program's purpose is to train students as advanced integrated practice social work professionals. This specialized track enhances generalist training by enabling students to synthesize micro, mezzo, and macro intervention strategies across service domains and multidisciplinary teams, effectively solving diverse social issues with special attention to rural service frameworks. The advanced integrated practice program offers a unified social work methodology, preparing graduates for both client-facing roles and leadership positions.
