Recognizing growing workforce demands across STEM, healthcare, social sciences, and humanities sectors, WVU has introduced this new Bachelor of Science program in data science. A distinctive feature of the Data Science curriculum is its 12-credit specialization component. Available concentrations span diverse academic disciplines from social sciences to natural sciences, including options like astronomy, biology, criminology, geography, geology, GIS, physics, public health, psychology, and sociology.
