Tax systems play a vital role in shaping legislative policies, economic strategies, and commercial operations worldwide. Local, state, and national governments maintain intricate, interconnected tax frameworks, while global entities like the OECD promote cross-border collaboration on essential taxation matters. The Taxation LL.M. program equips students with core expertise in federal income tax law (covering individual, corporate, and partnership taxation) while offering opportunities to specialize in preferred areas - from resolving tax disputes and crafting economic policy initiatives to transactional tax strategy development and personalized estate planning assistance.
