Each student's curriculum is tailored to their specific requirements and academic interests. Generally, the program combines science education coursework with related curriculum studies and supporting subject areas that complement a science major or minor focus. Earning this specialist certificate enables educators to serve as curriculum experts in their chosen field and take on leadership positions within schools or districts.
