The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) equips nurses to perform thorough evaluations and apply diverse psychobiological treatment approaches. The PMHNP clinical curriculum emphasizes: mental health evaluations, emergency response, crisis management, biopsychological frameworks of wellness and disease, theoretical and practical applications in specialized areas (including substance abuse, eating/sleep conditions, gender-related concerns, HIV/AIDS, severe mental disorders, and trauma), along with targeted patient groups.
