Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field focused on exploring the brain and nervous system. It integrates diverse academic disciplines such as biology, psychology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, pharmacology, physiology, engineering, mathematics, and computer science. As one of nature's most extraordinary creations, the brain governs our identity, bodily functions, and intricate cognitive and emotional processes. Given its profound influence on human existence, neuroscience professionals work across numerous industries. WSU's neuroscience program provides specialized pathways for pre-med and pre-vet students, along with three computational neuroscience concentrations. This comprehensive bachelor's degree program examines all facets of the nervous system through a multidisciplinary approach, drawing on faculty expertise from the Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, and Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences.
