The Master of Public and International Affairs (MPIA), provided by the Government and International Affairs (GIA) program, integrates knowledge from international relations, geography, sociology, and economics to examine globalization's impact on political systems at all levels. This degree program accommodates both full-time and part-time students at Virginia Tech's Arlington Research Center, just steps from the Ballston Metro station.
