The Virginia Tech Department of Psychology provides a doctoral program with four specialization tracks: Biological Psychology, Clinical Science, Developmental Science, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. While pursuing their Ph.D., students obtain an M.S. in psychology, though standalone master's degrees aren't available. The program welcomes applicants holding bachelor's or higher degrees. Despite having distinct focus areas, all concentrations maintain a unified approach: equipping graduate students with the conceptual, statistical, and research capabilities needed to address both theoretical and practical challenges.
