Our program brings together diverse expertise spanning horticultural crops (fruits, vegetables, ornamentals), plant biology, and environmental interactions. We're dedicated to enhancing quality of life by advancing edible and decorative plant cultivation while promoting sustainable landscapes. Faculty and student research focuses on multiple specialties including floriculture, urban agriculture, nursery operations, grape and fruit cultivation, vegetable farming, soil microbiome studies, sustainable biofuel plants, eco-friendly pest control, climate-smart agriculture, and genetic crop enhancement techniques.
