The Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) program holds accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). This discipline focuses on safeguarding, enhancing, and advancing community health outcomes. The curriculum equips students for entry-level roles across various public health sectors, such as environmental health, health education, and epidemiological studies. BSPH students undertake 42 credit hours of foundational coursework, cultivating expertise to tackle challenges like communicable diseases, chronic conditions, unhealthy behaviors, health inequities, and other pressing issues. A key component of the core curriculum is the One Health approach, highlighting the interconnectedness between human wellness, animal health, and environmental quality. The 120-credit degree program offers 33 elective credits, enabling learners to pursue complementary majors or minors aligned with their career aspirations. Alongside the full degree, an 18-credit public health minor option is also offered.
