The Master of Environmental Studies (M.Envs.) program offers an interdisciplinary graduate degree focused on exploring the vital connections between biological sciences and policy-making. This specialized curriculum equips students with professional skills for leadership roles in environmental science and policy sectors. Beyond the foundational courses, participants must complete a minimum of 6 credits through internships or independent research projects. The 33-credit graduation requirement can be fulfilled through advanced elective courses at the graduate level.
Undergraduate coursework in Introductory Biology and Chemistry. It is preferred, but not required, that applicants have coursework in Ecology, Environmental Policy, and Introductory Statistics.
GPA of 3.0 or higher from undergraduate institution
Relevant outside of classroom experience (e.g., independent study, internship, research experience, field work, etc.)
Applicants holding an undergraduate degree from recognized foreign institutions should display an acceptable level of English proficiency by achieving a minimum score of 600 on the TOEFL paper-based examination or 100 on the Internet-based examination.
