The Master of Science in Energy Management program develops future leaders for the energy sector, equipping students to excel in corporate, industrial, and government roles. Created by renowned faculty at UT Dallas's Naveen Jindal School of Management and benefiting from proximity to Texas' numerous energy firms, this graduate program provides training in energy project valuation, operational strategy development, contract negotiation, and risk management specific to the energy field.
Alumni of the Energy Management program have launched successful careers across diverse sectors. Program graduates have secured positions such as:
Leadership roles in energy firms (including oil, gas, renewables, and power generation).
Analysts, researchers, and financial professionals at industrial and investment firms.
Advisors and policy experts working with government entities at all levels, from local to international.
Degree requirements: A bachelor's degree from an institution in the United States, or its equivalent (all majors are considered).
GPA: Students must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) in both core courses and in aggregate courses to qualify for the MS degree.
