The Vanderbilt Master of Marketing provides an in-depth curriculum featuring MBA-level classes, personalized immersion programs, and practical learning opportunities designed to align with your professional aspirations. Over 10 months, you'll gain a thorough grasp of this multifaceted discipline through rigorous coursework covering marketing fundamentals like advertising, promotions, sales, consumer psychology, data analysis, digital strategies, and beyond. Beyond the core curriculum, you'll specialize your expertise through two immersive experiences focused on your preferred industries and organizations.
To earn the degree, students must complete 31 credit hours. Owen Graduate School follows a module (mod) academic structure, with each 7-week mod constituting half a semester.

The ideal candidate has earned a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a top-quality college or university.
The minimum acceptable score on the paper-based TOEFL is 570, and for the Internet-based test, 88. Many programs, however, require a considerably higher level of proficiency.
For IELTS, the minimum acceptable score will vary by program. In many cases, a score of at least 7.0 is desirable.
