Whether crafting lesson plans for an after-school arts initiative or community projects offering safe havens for homeless youth, this intensive 10-month program examines learning processes, how tools and environments affect education, and how to create supportive learning spaces. Alumni pursue careers as classroom educators, instructional design experts, curriculum developers for schools and alternative settings like museums and libraries, creators of innovative learning programs, and education consultants. Others continue their studies with doctoral programs in Learning and Design.
Every M.Ed. student completes a final capstone project, allowing them to integrate and showcase their mastery of Learning and Design principles.
