This program is tailored for those pursuing careers in church ministry. It offers a chance to explore ministry literature, challenges, and practices in greater depth. While students from specific denominations may meet certain ordination prerequisites through this concentration, all participants are encouraged to reflect critically on the complex dynamics of church communities in modern North America.
Learning Objectives:
Graduates will cultivate contemporary ministry viewpoints, enabling them to enter ministerial practice as reflective and proactive leaders.
Participants will acquire practical ministry skills relevant to guiding congregations.
Students will complete an additional congregational field education component to enhance their leadership abilities and self-understanding of their talents through supervised experience.
