The doctoral specialization in Learning Design equips students to investigate, create, analyze, and advance theoretical frameworks for educational activities and settings. Our cross-disciplinary methodology emphasizes inclusivity, empowerment, and substantive disciplinary involvement while acknowledging how racial, gender, and socioeconomic disparities influence both learning content and methods. Consequently, our academic work explores learning processes (or barriers) within current societal, cultural, and political frameworks, aiming to challenge inequitable systems and ideologies by designing fair and just learning experiences.
