The Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction is guided by at least four graduate faculty members, consisting of a primary advisor with deep specialization in the chosen focus area, two additional faculty members proficient in that field, and one faculty member from outside the Curriculum and Instruction Department.

Every candidate's academic plan is customized in consultation with their primary advisor and advisory committee to best align with their academic interests, skills, and career aspirations.

A bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a regional or national institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of coursework.
