The Psychology Department brings together over twenty faculty members dedicated to advancing research on the brain, behavior, and cognitive functions. Our undergraduate curriculum exposes students to key modern psychology fields: clinical science, cognitive psychology, developmental studies, social psychology, and neuroscience. Clinical science explores personality, emotional patterns, psychological disorders, and treatment methods. Cognitive psychology investigates mental processes like perception, memory, attention, consciousness, and decision-making, along with their neural foundations. Developmental psychology tracks human growth from prenatal stages through adult life. Social psychology analyzes relationships between individuals and groups, plus how social contexts shape thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Neuroscience focuses on brain anatomy and function, examining how neurons interpret sensory data, facilitate choices, and coordinate physical movements.
All candidates for admission must present transcripts of work completed in high school.
