This initiative unites faculty from various departments to examine Jewish life and traditions from ancient biblical eras to contemporary times. Exploring Judaism provides essential insights into pivotal developments in Christianity and Islam, as well as the diverse cultures of the modern Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
Vanderbilt's dedication to promoting cultural diversity is embodied in this program. Students from all walks of life will discover multiple perspectives on Jewish heritage while examining broader themes of religious identity, minority experiences, and diaspora communities.
