Graduates of Valparaiso University's international business program enter the workforce with experience working with an international company in the United States or abroad. A business curriculum is supplemented by extensive study of a foreign language, and students spend at least one semester in an international location where they live, study, and work. Internship and Study Abroad experiences, combined with the expertise and confidence gained by four years of study with highly qualified and internationally experienced Valpo faculty, mean that international business majors are highly sought after as prospective employees or graduate students.
Applicants are required to have High School graduation.
English language requirements: TOEFL (75 iBT minimum); IELTS (6.0 minimum); iTEP (3.8 or higher); PTE (56 or higher); SAT (Reading & Writing score of 500); ACT (English score of 24); GCE or GCSE English exam (Grade of A or B); IB Higher Level English Exam (Score of 5, 6, or 7 or grade A or B); Completion of at least 2 consecutive years of high school and graduate from a US based high school; Completion of Level 112 at an ELS Language Center.
