Through the Western Regional Graduate Program, eligible students from western states receive in-state tuition rates. The curriculum covers water-related phenomena like climate patterns, groundwater dynamics, river development, soil science, and water chemistry. This field emphasizes safeguarding water ecosystems through studies in hydrology, geomorphology, stream rehabilitation, water contamination, climate impacts, and aquatic environments. A customized study plan is developed for each student by their advisory committee. Cross-disciplinary coursework is available in civil engineering, environmental engineering, agricultural sciences, and earth sciences.
