The USU Nursing Program integrates nursing theory with insights from biological, physical, and behavioral sciences, combined with classroom instruction. Hands-on learning occurs in nursing skills labs and diverse clinical environments including hospitals, long-term care facilities, outpatient clinics, home healthcare, and other medical settings. The Program is currently seeking accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approval from the Utah State Board of Nursing.
