As the sole entry-level bachelor's degree program in New England, the University of Hartford's offering meets the growing industry demand for bachelor's-prepared respiratory therapists. This degree provides a competitive advantage throughout your professional journey, from securing initial employment to pursuing management roles. Our four-year, fully accredited curriculum culminates in a Bachelor of Science degree, qualifying graduates for state licensure and National Board for Respiratory Care certification. Students gain extensive hands-on experience through 750+ clinical hours at premier New England healthcare institutions such as Hartford Hospital, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Brigham and Women's Medical Center, and Boston Children's Hospital.
You can apply if you are currently enrolled in high school or secondary school, or if you have completed high school or secondary school, but have not started a degree.
You will be required to present the following results: 2.75 (out of 4.0); 3.75 (out of 5.0); 80% (out of 100); 70% (out of 100) India/Canada.
