The Interdisciplinary Studies major caters to students seeking a tailored academic path, a comprehensive educational foundation, and enhanced career versatility.
This major offers three distinct approaches to program design.
First, students can create a personalized curriculum by selecting courses from various disciplines that align with their professional aspirations.
Second, it allows the integration of multiple minors or certificates to better fulfill educational aims.
Third, it enables the merging of course clusters from different majors to create cross-disciplinary academic experiences. These methods can also be combined. The Interdisciplinary Studies program provides adaptable learning opportunities tailored to individual ambitions and academic passions.
Students can pursue this major through six participating colleges: Agriculture, Caine College of the Arts, Education and Human Services, Natural Resources, Science, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
