The SMTC provides three graduate degree programs featuring diverse concentrations, certification paths, and endorsement choices. Mission: To enhance mathematical knowledge and develop effective teaching strategies for middle school education
Program Overview: A specialized curriculum for educators seeking to strengthen their math expertise and instructional approaches for middle-grade learners
Flexible Start: Enrollment available in spring, summer, or fall semesters
Format: Spring and fall courses delivered through evening distance learning via WyoCourses
Summer Intensive: Three-week residential program in Laramie beginning each June
Eligibility: Current educators with minimum two years' experience pursuing middle-level math endorsement
Benefits: Complete a Master of Science with Middle-level Mathematics Education specialization while fulfilling professional development requirements for highly qualified teacher status
