Our Exercise and Sport Science track prepares graduate students for diverse career paths in health and kinesiology, including cardiac rehabilitation, exercise physiology, and strength/conditioning coaching. Many pursue further education through doctoral programs or medical fields like physical therapy, occupational therapy, or public health. The Kinesiology master's degree also appeals to professionals seeking deeper knowledge in personal training, health coaching, or athletic coaching. The program's flexibility allows students to customize their studies according to personal interests and career aspirations.

The degree offers three completion pathways to align with professional objectives: conducting original thesis research, developing a comprehensive paper on an exercise/sports topic, or (new this year) selecting our applied Experiential Learning Opportunity (ELO). The ELO option lets students integrate academic literature with real-world internship or workplace case studies.
