The University of Wyoming's JD/MBA dual degree program typically spans four years. Participants dedicate three years to on-campus law studies and one year to fulfilling the MBA core curriculum and specialized requirements. While most students begin their MBA coursework after their first year of law school (L1), the schedule can be adjusted to accommodate individual needs.
Graduates of this structured program will receive both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration degree.
Prospective students must declare their intent to both the College of Law and MBA Program when applying, securing admission from each institution. Law school admission criteria are available HERE. To maintain enrollment in the combined program, students must meet the academic standards of both the College of Law and College of Business.
JD/MBA candidates with demonstrated quantitative skills may waive GMAT/GRE requirements if they show sufficient mathematical preparedness through LSAT scores, academic background, work experience, or professional certifications.
