The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a collaborative program between the College of Letters and Science and the Lubar College of Business. This degree equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for careers in public service and non-profit leadership, offering three specialization tracks: municipal management, general public administration, and non-profit management.

Qualification Requirements

An applicant must meet Graduate School requirements and hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university to be considered for admission. The MPA program requirements to be considered for admission are:

An undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale).
Three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with applicant's academic ability and achievement.
Submission of scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

You must have attended this institution for at least one year and the degree was earned at an institution in the United States, and you have lived and worked continuously in the U.S since earning the degree. Cambridge English: Advanced / Cambridge English Proficiency C1 level or higher. TOEFL IBT (not Home Edition) - 79 120, IELTS - 6.5 9.0.
