The Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Global Health Epidemiology (G.H.E.) program equips graduates with essential epidemiological skills for both domestic and international work environments. This G.H.E. program offers two completion options: a 42-credit and 60-credit curriculum. With its interdisciplinary approach, the G.H.E. track delivers comprehensive training in theoretical foundations, methodological approaches, and practical applications across health and social sciences. Faculty members maintain active research partnerships globally, spanning nations such as Argentina, Brazil, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Israel, Malawi, and Mexico. Research focuses encompass diverse areas including cancer studies, chronic illness, antimicrobial resistance, maternal-child nutrition, reproductive health, socioeconomic health factors, urban health challenges, vaccine monitoring, and water/vector-related diseases. The program additionally provides international internship placements across numerous countries worldwide.
