The Master of Fine Arts in Cinematic Arts program caters to dedicated, skilled students pursuing artistic careers. Your graduate journey is guided by a primary thesis advisor assigned when you enter the program, with whom you'll collaborate throughout your first year. By your second semester, a specialized graduate review committee of faculty members will be formed to support your creative research goals.
From your second semester onward, you'll showcase ongoing and new projects to your review committee during end-of-semester evaluations. These sessions foster creative exchange, offering opportunities for constructive critique, discussion, and professional feedback on your work.
To complete your studies, you'll present a thesis project developed during the program, approved by your advisor and committee. While traditionally featured in an on-campus MFA Thesis Screening, alternative presentation formats may be considered—all designed to nurture your artistic vision and research.
