Bachelor's Degree
The doctoral program provides advanced studies in literature, folklore, and philology. Admission prerequisites align with those for the Master's degree in Scandinavian Studies, specializing in literature, regional studies, or philology as applicable. New graduate students must meet with the primary graduate advisor when they arrive at UW-Madison. During this meeting, they'll review the student's academic objectives and professional aspirations, then jointly determine the most suitable faculty member to serve as committee chair.
