The Microbiology Master of Science Program offers a conventional graduate curriculum where participants concentrate on academic studies and conducting novel research under faculty guidance. Students collaborate with an advisory committee to choose and fulfill 30 credit hours of coursework. For their research component, they partner with faculty advisors to explore diverse microbiology fields such as environmental microbiology, microbial ecology, industrial applications, bacterial physiology, genetics, immunology, pathogenic microbiology, and other related areas.
