The UWL Biology Department offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in life sciences. Students benefit from cutting-edge tools and facilities for coursework and investigations. Research options span multiple biological fields, with many undergraduates conducting guided independent studies under faculty supervision. Academic courses and research projects leverage our local natural resources—the Mississippi River and La Crosse River Marsh—as living laboratories.
A bachelor’s or higher degree from UWL or another approved institution where English is the sole language of instruction may also fulfill this requirement.
Degree must be earned within two years of expected enrollment at UWL.
